and recall the corresponding division facts. Basing the program on this
standard, to ensure
automaticity, there is a researched progression students naturally follow
in order to get
a deep and intrinsic understanding of how to apply the fact
strategies.

today. Much of this attitude stems from thinking of math

STEMscopes Mathematics’ research-based Daily Numeracy program was carefully designed

students develop and fortify their understanding of math beyond the procedure.
The goal of Daily Numeracy is to empower students to reason with
numbers in an accurate,
efficient, and flexible way. We have included carefully crafted, purposeful

designed to help students build their thinking and reasoning around
relationships and connections.
